Morning/Afternoon: Your Central European adventure begins as you arrive at Munich Airport. Upon clearing customs and collecting your luggage, you'll be greeted by your driver in the airport parking area. Board your comfortable coach, which will be your primary mode of transportation for the next 12 days as you journey from Munich to Budapest.

Afternoon: Your first meal of the tour will be lunch in Munich, giving you a taste of Bavarian cuisine. Following lunch, you'll embark on a guided city tour of Munich, lasting up to 2 hours. This tour will introduce you to the city's key landmarks and rich history. After the guided portion, you'll have free time to explore the world-famous Oktoberfest. No reservation is required, allowing you to soak in the festive atmosphere at your own pace.

Evening: As the day winds down, you'll check into your Munich hotel, the Ramada by Wyndham München Airport or a similar accommodation (subject to availability due to Oktoberfest). Dinner will be arranged in Munich, with local coach transfers provided (the transfers will last a maximum of 2.5 hours round trip). This will be your first opportunity to get to know your fellow travelers over a meal. After dinner, return to your hotel for a well-deserved rest.

Morning: Start your day with a continental breakfast at the hotel. The morning is yours to enjoy at leisure. You might choose to visit the English Garden, one of the world's largest urban parks, offering beautiful green spaces and even a chance to watch surfers on the Eisbach wave. Alternatively, you could return to Oktoberfest to further experience this iconic Bavarian festival.

Afternoon: Lunch will be served in Munich. After lunch, you have optional activities to choose from. You could visit Nymphenburg Palace, a Baroque masterpiece that was the summer residence of Bavarian rulers (€15 per person, not included in the package price). Another option is a day trip to the fairy-tale Neuschwanstein Castle, the inspiration for Disney's Sleeping Beauty castle (€23 per person, not included in the package price).

Evening: Return to your hotel to freshen up before dinner. Once again, dinner will be arranged in Munich with local coach transfers provided (maximum 2.5 hours round trip). This is your last night in Munich, so take the opportunity to savor more Bavarian specialties and perhaps enjoy a final stein of beer.

Morning: After breakfast at your Munich hotel, check out and board your coach for the journey to Salzburg. The drive from Munich to Salzburg typically takes about 2 hours, offering views of the Bavarian and Austrian countryside along the way.

Afternoon: Upon arrival in Salzburg, you'll have lunch, your first taste of Austrian cuisine. After lunch, you'll embark on a 3-hour guided city tour themed around "The Sound of Music". While no monumental entrances are included, you'll see many of the filming locations from the famous movie and learn about Salzburg's rich musical heritage, including its most famous son, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart.

Evening: After the tour, you'll check into your Salzburg hotel, the Walserwirt 4* or similar. Dinner will be arranged in Salzburg, with local coach transfers provided (maximum 2.5 hours round trip). Use this dinner as an opportunity to discuss your first impressions of Austria with your fellow travelers.

Morning: Begin your day with breakfast at the hotel. Today is a free day for leisure in Salzburg, allowing you to explore this beautiful city at your own pace. You might choose to visit Fortress Hohensalzburg, one of the largest medieval castles in Europe. A basic ticket with fortress railway access is available as an optional extra (€15 per person, not included in the package price).

Afternoon: Lunch will be served in Salzburg. After lunch, enjoy free time for shopping in Getreidegasse, Salzburg's most famous shopping street. Known for its beautiful architecture and wrought iron guild signs, it's also the street where Mozart was born.

For those interested, there's an optional day trip to Salzwelten Hallstatt, including a funicular round trip (€42 per person, not included in the package price). Hallstatt is known for its picturesque lakeside setting and ancient salt mines. If you choose to stay in Salzburg, you might visit some of the city's excellent museums or simply wander its beautiful Baroque streets. Lunch will be served in Salzburg.

Evening: For dinner tonight, you'll travel by your tour coach (no local coach, 12 hours disposal). This change in routine offers a different dining experience, perhaps at a restaurant with a particularly scenic setting or renowned cuisine. After dinner, return to your hotel for your final night in Salzburg.

Afternoon: Upon arrival in Vienna, you'll have lunch, introducing you to Viennese cuisine. After lunch, you'll visit the magnificent Schönbrunn Palace. After the palace tour, you'll have some free time to explore Vienna on your own.

Morning: Start your day with breakfast at the hotel, then embark on a guided half-day panoramic tour of Vienna, lasting 3 hours. This tour will introduce you to the city's major landmarks, including the Ringstrasse, the State Opera House, and St. Stephen's Cathedral.

Afternoon: After the tour, you'll have lunch in Vienna. The afternoon is free for leisure, allowing you to explore more of the city on your own. You might choose to visit one of Vienna's many world-class museums or enjoy coffee and cake at a traditional Viennese café.

Morning: After breakfast, check out of your Vienna hotel and board the coach for your journey to Zagreb, Croatia. This is a longer drive, typically taking about 4 hours, and will take you through parts of Austria, Slovenia, and into Croatia.

Afternoon: Upon arrival in Zagreb, you'll have lunch, your first taste of Croatian cuisine. After lunch, you'll have an orientation tour of Zagreb. While this tour is without a guide, it will help you get your bearings in Croatia's capital city. You'll also visit the unique Museum of Broken Relationships, which offers a quirky and poignant look at failed relationships through donated personal objects.

Evening: Check into your Zagreb hotel, the Hotel International 4* or similar. Dinner will be arranged in Zagreb with local coach transfers (maximum 2.5 hours round trip). Use this dinner to share your first impressions of Croatia with your fellow travelers.

Morning/Afternoon: After an early breakfast, you'll embark on a full-day guided trip to Plitvice Lakes National Park. This UNESCO World Heritage site is famous for its cascading lakes in shades of azure and green. Your entrance tickets are included, and you'll have a chance to explore the wooden footbridges and waterfalls that make this park so spectacular. Lunch will be a local meal, likely featuring Croatian specialties.

Morning: After breakfast, check out of your Zagreb hotel and board the coach for your journey to Budapest, Hungary. This drive typically takes about 4-5 hours, passing through northern Croatia and western Hungary.

Afternoon: Upon arrival in Budapest, you'll have lunch, your introduction to Hungarian cuisine. After lunch, you'll enjoy a guided city tour of Budapest, lasting up to 3 hours. This tour will include visits to some of the city's most famous landmarks, including Fisherman's Bastion and Matthias Church (entrance fees included).

Evening: Check into your Budapest hotel, the Mercure Buda 4* or similar. Dinner will be arranged in Budapest with local coach transfers (maximum 2.5 hours round trip). Use this dinner to share your first impressions of Hungary and its capital with your fellow travelers.

Morning: After breakfast, you'll have free time to explore the Pest side of the city. This is a great opportunity to do some last-minute shopping or sightseeing. You'll also visit the impressive Hungarian Parliament Building (entrance ticket included).

Afternoon: Lunch will be served in Budapest. After lunch, you'll enjoy a scenic 1-hour cruise on the Danube River, offering beautiful views of Budapest from the water.

Evening: Following the cruise, you'll be transferred to Budapest airport for your departure flight, marking the end of your Central European adventure. As you board your plane, you'll take with you a wealth of memories from your journey through Germany, Austria, Croatia, and Hungary.
